Denny Sorenson, 74, passed away at Good Samaritan Society of Albert Lea on Thursday, Aug. 7, 2014. He was born in Albert Lea to Irvin and Helen Sorenson on Aug. 27, 1939, and was a lifetime resident. He attended First Baptist Church and the chapel at Good Samaritan.

Denny is survived by sister, Doris Christenson; brother, Robert (Tamie) Sorenson; and nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Irvin and Helen; sister, Janet (Elroy) Kast; and brother, James Sorenson.

The family would like to express gratitude to Denny’s caregivers — especially Good Samaritan Society, Hospice, Bob Sturtz, Holly Wallace and the Goldman, Sturtz and Halvorsen Law Office.

Memorial services for Dennis Sorenson will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Bonnerup Funeral Service in Albert Lea with the Rev. Kent Otterman officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery. Memorials preferred to Good Samaritan Society or donor’s choice.
