Small Dog Rescue of Minnesota will host its Big Hogs for Small Dogs Poker run. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. Aug. 23 and the ride leaves from Rooster’s Barn and Grill, 2280 Superior Drive NW in Rochester, at 11 a.m.

Those that don’t have a bike and want to go along can join the fun on Sonja’s Doggy Bus. The bus will stop at Kelly’s Bar in Red Wing for lunch and continue on with the ride after.  The ride should return to Rooster’s at about 5 p.m. A raffle will take place around 7:30 p.m. There will also be a few dogs that are up for adoption at the event.
