The Albert Lea chapter of Minnesota Coalition for Immigration Reduction will host a nationally known speaker on the subject of immigration.

Ron Branstner of Palm Spring, Calif., will speak at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Albert Lea American Legion Club. Branstner is a volunteer with the California Minutemen, an organization started in 2005 to monitor the flow of immigrants across the Mexican border. He visits Minnesota on occasion to see his parents.
