The Heath Creek Rest Area for northbound Interstate 35 motorists will be closed today as crews replace a well pump, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

The temporary closure is expected to last from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. today to allow crews sufficient time to replace the well pump. The rest area building will be closed during this time.

The Heath Creek Rest Area is at mile marker 68, about 9 miles north of Faribault in Rice County.
