2 arrested for DWI

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Reece Allen Schultz, 27, for third-degree driving while intoxicated at 4:05 a.m. Saturday near the intersection of Bridge Avenue and Ruble Avenue in Albert Lea.

Albert Lea police arrested Eric Lester Hungerford, 40, for driving while intoxicated and gross misdemeanor test refusal after receiving a report of a man passed out in his truck at 2:14 p.m. The location of the incident was redacted from the police logs.

 

Golf cart stolen

A golf cart was reported stolen at 7:19 p.m. Sunday from 76783 270th St., Clarks Grove.

A gas drive-off was reported at 1:53 p.m. Saturday at 122 Bridge Ave., Albert Lea.

Albert Lea police cited Mark Allen Carpenter, 41, for shoplifting at 5:55 p.m. Sunday from Shopko, 2610 Bridge Ave.

Police cited David Michael Hurst, 44, for shoplifting at 9:03 p.m. Sunday from Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave.

 

Man cited for violation

Albert Lea police cited Anthony Keon Adams Jr., 23, for open container violation at 12:26 a.m. Saturday at 122 E. Main St., Albert Lea.

 

Injury crash reported

An injury traffic crash was reported at 2:46 p.m. Saturday near the intersection of Fountain Street and Fifth Avenue. No other information was available as of press time.

 

Door kicked in Saturday

A door was reported kicked in at 8:57 p.m. Saturday at 527 Triangle Drive.

Albert Lea police cited Christopher Douglas Smith, 24, for criminal damage and possession of drug paraphernalia at 12:33 a.m. Sunday at 610 Oak Lane.
