Albert Lea High School choral director Diane Heaney is excited to announce the students selected for show choirs this year, according to a press release.  They were chosen by audition the first days of the school year. Both groups will rehearse in the mornings before school and will present a special showcase concert in the spring.  ALHS CATaclysmic show choir members for this year will be available later on for community performances and will go on a special retreat to Prairie River Camp to perfect their high energy show.

The students are Heather Wirkus, Claire Nelson, Isabel Ehrhardt, Taylor Martinez, Angie Schmitt, Carly Nelson, Kendra Manges, Katie Rasmussen, Bethany Tennis, Rika Boorsma, Katelyn Hendrickson, Riley Schulz, Justine Nelson, Anna Englin, Emily Ortiz, Camryn Keyeski, Tori Helgeson, Liana Schallock, Jacob Leal, Logan Petersen, Sam Ehrhardt, Aaron Zogg, Landon Kirchner, Rickon Peterson, Ryan Nelson, Travis Nemec, Lukas Severson, Cain Quickstad, Gabriel Minear, Connor Larson, Josh Englin, Brayden Boettcher, Kole Smith, Noah Iverson, Jack Buendorf and Sam Ellis.

The SASS show choir will also start rehearsing the end of October. Those students are Kira Alm-Musel, Sandi Balbuena, Kristine Bergeron, Anna Boettcher, Grace Chalmers, Kailey Christiansen, Presley Duenes, Charley Fleek, Katie Funk, Julissa Gilbertson, Khira Hacker, Jacylyn Hall, Tiffany Hallisy, Elizabeth Holcomb, Morgana Jensen, Rowan Kraft, Lizzy Kunkel-Erickson, Abigail Le, Cali Mowers, Jenny Rudemo, Madeline Schei, Brianna Shea, Lorayna Telles, Rylie Tollefson, Natalie Weiland and Maddie Willey.
