Freeborn County Recorder Kelly Callahan loves his job.
He loves his job so much, he said, that he doesn’t even consider it to be work.
Callahan, 60, is running for re-election as recorder in the Nov. 4 general election. He has no opponents.
Callahan, who lives at 311 Lloyd Place, has been Freeborn County’s recorder since 2000.
As recorder, Callahan oversees all vital records, such as births, deaths, marriages and divorces in Freeborn County and makes sure titles and other similar legal documents are completed and filed properly.
