Maddy Ruble from Albert Lea made the 2014 spring semester dean’s list at the University of South Dakota. To be named to the dean’s list students must achieve a GPA of 3.5 while maintaining a course load of 12 or more credit hours with no incomplete or failing grades.

Kay K. Drenth from Albert Lea received an academic recognition from the University of South Dakota. Part-time students are eligible for an academic recognition if he or she completes at least 12 credit hours prior to the current semester earning a minimum of three and up to 11 credit hours during the term and achieving a GPA of at least 3.5 with no failing or incomplete grades.

Jacqui Jepson of Albert Lea, daughter of Matthew and Kristin Larson and Tad Jepson, graduated with the class of 2014 from Winona State University on May 9. She received her Bachelor of Science teaching degree.

Ashley Holl was accepted in to Waldorf College in Forest City.

Ashley Holl participated in Scholarship Day and was awarded a $2,000 scholarship.
