National Active and Retired Federal Employees Chapter 469 met Aug. 12 at Pizza Ranch in Austin. Brigitte Campbell, executive director of Freeborn-Mower Habitat for Humanity, explained how Habitat for Humanity works to rehab and build safe, decent and affordable housing in Freeborn and Mower counties. Committee reports were given, and a business meeting was conducted. The next meeting will be Oct. 14 at Pizza Ranch in Albert Lea.
