Phillip David McCornack was born April 28, 1953, in Albert Lea, the son of Albert and Ruby (Sorenson) McCornack. He was baptized at Calvary Baptist Church. Phillip grew up on the family farm near Albert Lea; he then lived various places before making his home in Albert Lea. He worked as an assembler at Cedar Valley for many years. Phillip was a member of ARC, Spire and Calvary Baptist Church. One of his weekly highlights was going to church on Sunday; Phillip loved his Lord. Phillip enjoyed bowling, dancing, traveling with his friends and collecting “Three Stooges” memorabilia. He always had a hug for everyone he met and left a lasting impression. Blessed be his memory.
