Thanks for the avian support

On behalf of the Albert Lea Audubon Society, I extend a hearty thank you to so many who kindly assisted us in making the delightful community event on Tuesday happen without a hitch at the nearly new pavilion at Edgewater Park!
First, thanks to Darcy Sime and her excellent presentation! Second, we were granted the brief rental of the nearly new pavilion at Edgewater Park through Albert Lea’s Department of Parks and Recreation for that evening. Albert Lea’s Senior Center allowed us to rent its projection screen for a nominal fee, and the Albert Lea Public Library loaned us their projector for the evening. Others that proved so helpful in alerting folks to this free for the public event were Albert Lea’s Continuing Education crew, particularly Mary Boorsma, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Neist of Litho Printing & Graphics with their design and printing of lovely posters advertising the event, KATE Radio’s “Party Line” with Darrel Amundson, and the Albert Lea Tribune.
The Albert Lea Audubon Society will host another community event also free for the public on Wednesday evening of Oct. 22. More information of that will be forthcoming.
