Albert Lea Public Library announces summer readers of the week

Kaitlyn Klocke is the daughter of Seth and Leah. She has three siblings named Vayda, Ledger and Taylor. They have one dog, Sage. Her favorite book is “Lotus Lane #1: Kiki My Stylish Life.” She likes that they have a club and make crafts and have parties. Her favorite place to read is in her room on her couch.

Sam Stay, 7, is the son of Sarah and Matt. He has a sister, Lucy. The family has a pet dog named Scout. Sam’s favorite place to read is in his mom and dad’s bed. He especially likes the “Magic Treehouse” series because it is full of adventure and he likes Jack because he is brave.

Hannah Conn, 11, is the daughter of Lisa and Adam. She has two brothers named Tanner and Carter. The family’s dog is named Harley. Hannah enjoys soccer, dance, reading and writing. Her favorite place to read is in the tree in her front yard. Her favorite book is “The Fault in Our Stars.” She especially liked the writing, how John Green develops his characters and the expressions made by the characters.

His favorite place to read is the library. He especially likes books about cats and cheetahs. He likes cheetahs because they are fast.

Her favorite place to read is at the library. She especially likes the “Magic Pet” series because the animals can do magical things.

Her favorite place to read is in her room and she particularly enjoys the “Boxcar Children” and the “A to Z Mysteries.” She also enjoys art, figure-skating and dance. Her favorite “Boxcar Children” story describes where they found the creek, the stump and the blueberry bushes.
