To celebrate Make a Difference Day on Saturday, the staff at Bliss Bridal and Formalwear will collect food for the Hawkeye Harvest Food Bank in Mason City and Salvation Army food shelf in Albert Lea. To reward the donations made, Bliss will be discounting formal and prom and mom gowns purchased and donate 10 items. Customers can receive up to 50 percent off.
Make a Difference Day is a national day of doing good and it takes place each year on the fourth Saturday in October.
If you don’t have the need for a new gown, but still would like to donate, Bliss will give away a reusable shopping bag to each person making a donation Saturday and Sunday. Come in and help the Bliss team make a difference.
