I am sick of hearing sheriff candidate Kurt Freitag and his supporters complaining about an “unauthorized” website. Maybe if Kurt Freitag was a decent person to begin with, no one could say anything bad about him. The picture that is on the website is one that he obviously posed for. He can’t claim it’s a lie. The lawsuits that he was involved in are documented in the court system and are readily available to the public. He can’t claim those are lies. He can’t pick and choose what people remember about his past.

I am guessing that Freitag has made multiple enemies in his career. It could be any number of people. Whoever is responsible for this website has the same First Amendment rights as every other citizen. Freedom of speech is for every citizen whether Kurt Freitag likes it or not.

I will be voting for Sheriff Bob Kindler on Nov. 4. He hasn’t given me any reason not to.
