We are old, but we are not stupid. Every senior citizen knows that Medicare is a federal program. Yet we are bombarded every day with radio ads and mailers trying to convince us if we support Peggy Bennett our Medicare will be endangered.

That is completely dishonest and is intended to frighten senior citizens. Shannon Savick knows that this is dishonest, and she is trying to distract us from the real issues she has failed at: Health care that is going up 20 percent, out-of-control regulations, spending $90 million on a lavish Senate building we don’t need and spent $400 million to bail out Obamacare. The truth is the Democrats have reduced Medicare by $500 million.

I resent the dishonesty. Peggy Bennett is one of the most honest, caring people I know and she deserves the respect and support of this community. I am insulted by these negative attacks on her and on the intelligence of us as senior citizens.
