Man arrested for DWI
Albert Lea police arrested Jeremy Brian Louis Thorne for driving while intoxicated at 2:06 a.m. Sunday at 820 Happy Trails Lane.
Vehicles damaged
A window was reported broken out of a red 1993 Ford F-150 at 7:37 a.m. Saturday at 1311 Crestview Road.
A block from a retaining wall was reportedly thrown through a window of a 1990 Mustang at 7:58 p.m. Tuesday at 714 Minnesota Ave.
A vehicle was reported rummaged through at 8:24 p.m. Tuesday at 708 Minnesota Ave. A rechargeable flashlight was reported stolen.
Residences broken into
A house was reported broken into at 12:50 p.m. Friday at 806 Pillsbury Ave. Jewelry was taken.
An apartment was reported broken into at 7:10 p.m. Sunday at 513 W. Main St.
Man arrested for domestic assault
Albert Lea police arrested David Ambriz Becerra for domestic assault at 5:05 p.m. Friday at 806 Valley Ave.
Items stolen
A pack of Newport cigarettes were reported stolen at 7:38 p.m. Friday from Nelson’s Shell station, 122 Bridge Ave.
A purse was reported stolen at 5:41 p.m. Sunday at 1147 S. Broadway.
Money was reported missing from a room at 3:32 p.m. Tuesday at Thorne Crest Retirement Community, 1201 Garfield Ave.
A scooter was reported stolen at 5:16 p.m. Tuesday from Hawthorne Elementary School, 1000 E. Hawthorne St.
1 arrested for drugs
Albert Lea police arrested Jeremiah Michael Oakland for fifth-degree drug possession, possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop at 1:58 a.m. Saturday at 1210 E. Main St.
Attempted car break-in reported
A suspicious person was reported at 6:46 a.m. today near the intersection of 780th Avenue and 203rd Street. The caller stated it appeared someone was trying to break into his vehicle.
Hit-and-run reported
A hit-and-run crash was reported at 2:03 p.m. Tuesday in the Walmart parking lot, 1550 Blake Ave.
