CHASKA — A man has died in a farming accident west of Chaska.

Sgt. Pat Barry of the Carver County Sherriff’s Office said they received a call just before 2:30 p.m. that a man was buried after a ditch collapsed while he was putting in drain tile. It happened on County Road 43 in Dahlgren Township, just south of Highway 212.

Emergency responders were on scene and were awaiting the medical examiner.
