I would like to thank Earl Jacobson for being a responsible citizen and attending the Shell Rock Watershed board meeting Sept. 30. His letter to the Tribune in the Oct. 12 edition tells us some very interesting things.

The board has too much money. They are very inept. The dredge they bought is insufficient for the project. Where are they going to put the sludge the dredging will produce? When are they going to undertake this project?

I would like to thank Earl Jacobson for being a wonderful teacher. He was my instructor in high school. He is still teaching me. Thanks, Earl.
