Savick part of successful DFL

Thank state Rep. Shannon Savick for her role in creating jobs in Minnesota. Right now we have the lowest unemployment rate in eight years and more jobs than ever before. Minnesota manufacturers have reached 21 straight months of growth.
Rep. Savick sits on the Jobs and Economic Development Finance and Policy Committee and has played a crucial role in the success of Minnesota’s job growth. She has created jobs by investing in our future and in training children/young adults to join the workforce. Gov. Mark Dayton and representatives have invested $24 million into the Minnesota Job Creation Fund — a pay-for-performance economic development incentive tool that helps companies expand and locate in Minnesota. One thousand and three hundred new jobs are expected to be created and 20 companies have already benefitted from the program.
At a job growth rate of 5.7 percent, Minnesota outperforms the Midwest average of 4.9 percent and crushes its neighboring state, Wisconsin, at a dismal 4.1 percent. Minnesota’s representatives like Rep. Savick are to thank for Minnesota’s job growth and their efforts will only continue to help and benefit the Gopher state.
