NORTHWOOD — The Worth County Courthouse will be closed from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday to allow county employees who choose to attend the funeral of District 1 Supervisor Dennis May, who died Saturday.

A special election will be held at a later date to fill the vacancy due to May’s death.
