High-risk offender arrested for violation 

Albert Lea police arrested Level 3 predatory offender Cody Padraic Trott, 24, on a Department of Corrections warrant for a parole violation at 4:03 p.m. Thursday at the Law Enforcement Center, 411 S. Broadway. Trott reportedly turned himself in. What the violation was is unclear.

 

Hit-and-run reported

A hit-and-run crash was reported at 8:18 a.m. Thursday on Valley Avenue. A dark green four-door car hit  another vehicle and then left southbound.

 

Tires slashed

Tires were reported slashed at 8:23 a.m. Thursday at 721 Freeborn Ave. The incident reportedly took place Tuesday.

 

Tools reported stolen

Tools were reported stolen at 9:04 p.m. Wednesday at 214 N. First Ave.

 

1 injured in crash 

A vehicle was reported in the ditch at 4:10 p.m. Wednesday on Freeborn County Road 46 east of County Road 30. A person in the vehicle complained of neck pain.
