People in Albert Lea reported power outages  Monday evening. Others reported that their lights flickered.

A Tribune check of the Alliant Energy online outage map showed 2,069 customers without power. Freeborn-Mower Cooperative Services reported 481 without power.

A winter weather advisory is in effect for the Twin Cities and central Minnesota. Northern Minnesota is dealing with a winter storm warning.

Albert Lea received cold rain and even some light snow that melted when reaching the ground Monday afternoon. The Minnesota Department of Transportation lists driving conditions on Interstate 90 and Interstate 35 in Freeborn County as normal.
