Turkey meal being made for eve of Thanksgiving

The Albert Lea Salvation Army will host a community Thanksgiving dinner Wednesday.
The meal is from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Fairlane Building at the Freeborn County Fairgrounds.
The dinner is intended to bring the community together and is free to the public. The meal includes a traditional turkey dinner.
As many as 500 people have attended in previous years.
Volunteers are welcomed. To volunteer, call the Salvation Army at 373-5710.
