Eighty-one units of blood were collected at the Red Cross blood drive Dec. 26 at Northbridge Mall, which was 10 units over the goal. One-gallon pins were awarded to Austin Beseman and Jerry Johnson of Albert Lea and to Tim Schilling of Glenville. Four-gallon pins were awarded to Sandy Norby and Gordon Lewis of Albert Lea. Donald Munden of Albert Lea earned an 18-gallon pin and Omer R. Hamer of Clarks Grove earned a 21-gallon pin.
