Dog injured in fire
MANCHESTER — A German short hair was injured this morning after a fire south of Manchester.
The fire, at 25994 705th Ave., was reportedly in an old pheasant-raising coop.
The dog suffered from smoke inhalation and burns and was transported to the vet.
It is unclear what started the fire.
Cabin damaged by fire
EMMONS — A cabin was reportedly destroyed by fire at 2:20 p.m. Friday at 10499 708th Ave., near State Line Lake.
The fire reportedly started because of a wood-burning heat stove.
The cabin was owned by Hilliard Thompson.
Emmons Fire Department responded.
3 arrested for DWI
Albert Lea police arrested Rachel Lisa Christensen, 22, for second-degree driving while intoxicated, attempted motor vehicle theft and tampering with a motor vehicle after receiving a report at 10:06 p.m. Friday of an intoxicated woman trying to steal a vehicle at 510 E. Hawthorne St.
Police cited Thorow Banypiny Bichiok, 41, for third-degree driving while intoxicated and driving after revocation after a traffic stop at 11:38 p.m. Saturday near the intersection of Katherine Street and East Main Street.
Albert Lea police arrested Paul Matthew Scudder, 35, for third-degree driving while intoxicated at 12:32 a.m. today at 2751 E. Main St.
Jeep stolen from Albert Lea
A 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee was reported stolen at 4:02 a.m. today from 312 W. College St. Police reports stated the owner had started the car before it was stolen. The car is believed to be enroute to Texas.

A ladder and tool boxes were reported missing at 1:29 p.m. Saturday at 721 W. Clark St.
Man arrested for drug possession
Albert Lea police arrested Chad Alan Roberts, 47, for driving after cancellation and drug possession at 10:35 p.m. Saturday at 317 Court St.
Hit-and-run crashes reported
A hit-and-run crash was reported at 3:52 p.m. Friday in the parking lot of Albert Lea High School, 2000 Tiger Lane.
A hit-and-run crash was reported at 8:52 p.m. Friday at 901 W. Front St.
A hit-and-run crash was reported at 10:57 a.m. Tuesday at 1026 Dunham St.
