Eva Deloris Ernest was born March 9, 1921, in Albert Lea, the daughter of Frank and Myrtle (Wright) Dombroske.

She married Malcolm “Mal” R. Ernest Jan. 27, 1942, in Georgia. Mal built several area homes and Eva helped with the books and made their house a loving home for their family.

Eva died Saturday, Dec. 13, 2014, at home. She was 93.

Eva was very loving and generous and will be greatly missed by her family: her daughter, Bobbie, and her husband, Bob Kopischke, of Albert Lea; son, Jay Ernest, of Albert Lea; two grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren;  sister, Donna Ray (Keno) Knutson, of Albert Lea; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Mal; her sister, Dorothy Sullivan; and brother, Gerald Dombroske.

Private family services and interment were held.
