Man arrested for strangulation

Albert Lea police arrested Salvador Gomez, 30, on Thursday morning at 1913 Johnson St. for felony strangulation following alleged assaults happening at the home that morning. The crime is punishable by up to three years in prison and a 5,000 fine.

 

Man arrested on warrant

Albert Lea police arrested Alec Edward Madson, 18, after he turned himself in to authorities at the Freeborn County Courthouse at 3 a.m. Wednesday on a warrant related to prescription drug and seat belt violations.

 

Woman arrested for theft

Albert Lea police arrested Olivia Deanna Williams, 24, for allegedly shoplifting at Walmart on Wednesday afternoon.
