Guns, money stolen

Guns were reported stolen at 1:12 p.m. Tuesday from a residence at 206 S. Central Ave. in Hollandale.

Money was reported missing at 1:17 p.m. Thursday from 2722 Bridge Ave.

 

Man arrested for DWI

Albert Lea police arrested Shane Chris Soberg, 37, for third-degree driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop at 2:03 a.m. Wednesday near the intersection of Mill Street and South Washington Avenue.

 

Vehicle tampered with

Police received a report at 12:58 p.m. Wednesday that someone had reportedly put sugar into a gas tank at 226 E. Clark St.

 

Hit-and-run reported

A hit-and-run crash was reported at 9:08 p.m. Wednesday at 2218 E. Main St.

 

Counterfeit check passed

Police received a report at 1:53 p.m. Thursday that a man had attempted to pass a counterfeit check on Wednesday at 2708 Bridge Ave.

 

1 cited for marijuana

Police cited Abaas Nurr Said, 20, for possession of a small amount of marijuana and two felony warrants after a traffic stop at 8:53 p.m. Thursday near the intersection of Eberhart Street and Garfield Avenue.
