Destiny Ann Sargent, 8, was taken away Dec. 20, 2014, along with her mother, Christina, and brother Duwayne. She lived in Garland, Maine, with her mother, brother and aunt Andra.

She was born in Albert Lea Jan. 12, 2006, to Nathan Sargent and the late Christina Sargent. She went to school in Albert Lea and Dexter, Maine. She liked to color and write, she enjoyed singing on her aunt Andra’s karaoke machine and she liked playing with friends and spending time with family. She loved scary movies with her uncle DJ. She was a bit of tomboy, but also liked dressing up.

She is survived by her brothers Dominic Sargent of Ellsworth, Maine, Patrick Sargent from Clarks Grove and Braydon Sargent of Franklin, Maine; grandparents Dwight and Lauralee Sargent of Clarks Grove, Mary and George Wooster of Hancock, Maine, and Orissa Sargent of Sullivan, Maine; her nephew, Parker Sargent, of Clarks Grove; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her great-grandparents Wellington and Natalie Sargent, Leslie Crosman and William and Marion Dawes.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Clarks Grove.
