Diane Evenson, 1948-2015

Diane Marie Evenson, 66, of Minneapolis was killed Saturday, Feb. 14, 2015, in a car accident on Highway 35. She was born Sept. 30, 1948, in Albert Lea to Oswald and Marjorie (Foels) Evenson.
Diane grew up in Albert Lea and graduated from Albert Lea High School in 1966, and the Minnesota School of Business in 1967. She was a paralegal for Siegel Brill law firm. Diane was a devoted daughter, a great reader of fiction and biography, and watcher of vintage sitcoms. She loved songbirds, knitting, popcorn and her husband’s homemade wine. She was blessed with a ready wit and a sardonic sense of humor.
She was preceded in death by her father, Oswald Evenson; her aunt, Margaret; and several uncles Stuart Evenson, George Ellis, Alvin Mork, Bob Johnson, Richard Wasmoen and Marlowe Spurr.
She is survived by her husband, Kimber Page, of Minneapolis; mother, Marjorie Evenson, of Albert Lea; sisters Susan Williams of Minneapolis and Julie (Dale) Erickson of Wyoming; and brother, Craig (Margaret) Evenson, of Northfield. She is also survived by nephews Garret (Alison) Williams of Los Angeles and Theodore Erickson of St. Francis; niece, Katie Bundermann (Andrew), of Ham Lake; great-nieces Lila and Vivian Williams of Los Angeles; great-nephew, Wyatt Bundermann, of Ham Lake; and many cousins. Surviving aunts are Helen Mork and Lois Wasmoen of Albert Lea, Lenore Johnson of Shakopee, Lola Mae Breilein of Grand Ledge, Michigan, and May Lou Faudet of Ellendale.
There will be a service at 11 a.m. Saturday at Billman-Hunt Funeral Chapel, 2701 Central Ave. NE in Minneapolis, with visitation 4 to 7 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to the Saturday service at the chapel.
