- The fourth-grade Mini Kix hold a starting pose on March 14 during the Together We Dance competition at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. The event featured 104 teams and included over 2,500 performers. Albert Lea’s fourth-grade team took third place; fifth grade, second; sixth grade, second; seventh grade, first; Senior Kix, first; Jazz fourth through seventh grade, first; and Jazz eighth through 12th grade, second. Albert Lea’s Just For Kix program is in its 19th year of performance, includes area students from age 3 to 12th grade and is coached by Aimee Struck. — Provided
