An employer consortium in Albert Lea is now offering access to health care through a new on-site, HealthPartners-managed clinic. Employees at Albert Lea Select Foods, Alliance Benefit Group, Innovance, Mrs. Gerry’s and Zumbro River Brands can access the clinic for a variety of services, including primary and preventive care.

“Individuals and families can better manage their health and well-being when they have easy access to health care services,” said Patricia Dennis, senior vice president, health and care engagement at HealthPartners. “That’s just one benefit an onsite clinic presents. When employees improve health, it also reduces productivity loss and generates savings on health care costs. It really creates a best case scenario for employers and their workforce.”

The clinic offers primary, acute and preventive care services, treatment of minor medical conditions, health and well-being counseling, lab services and more. It can only be accessed by the participating companies, their eligible employees and dependents 18-months and older who are enrolled in a health plan through one of the five organizations.

The Albert Lea Plaza Well@Work Clinic is staffed by a certified nurse practitioner, with appointment availability Monday through Friday.
