Halverson Elementary School Principal Johnanna Thomas kisses Kinko, an 8-year-old boa constrictor on Friday at the school. The students were challenged to read 3,000 books as part of I Love to Read Month in February and read 5,074 books. Thomas promised she would kiss a snake if they reached their goal.
