Road closed from sinkhole

Lake Chapeau Drive was closed at Freeborn County Road 46 Wednesday evening after receiving a report of a large sinkhole. Traffic is being rerouted through Sunset Street.

 

Vehicles rummaged through

Albert Lea police received a report at 6:53 a.m. Wednesday that multiple cars in the Park Avenue area appeared to have been rummaged through. Nothing was damaged or taken.

 

Burglary reported

A burglary was reported at 9:17 a.m. Wednesday at 2722 Bridge Ave.

 

Vehicle damaged

Damage was reported to a vehicle at 11:09 a.m. Wednesday at 1010 Ramsey St.

Woman arrested for shoplifting

Albert Lea police arrested Kathlein Elizabeth Abraham, 56, for shoplifting at 2:14 p.m. Wednesday at Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave.

Items stolen

Items were reported stolen at 2:45 p.m. Wednesday from 1908 Bridge Ave.
