2 killed, 2 injured in crash

CARLTON — The Minnesota State Patrol said two people died and two others were injured in a head-on highway crash in Carlton County.
The patrol said both drivers were killed when a southbound car crossed the centerline on Highway 45 and struck an oncoming vehicle Tuesday between Carlton and Scanlon. Two passengers in the southbound car were injured.
