Carol Conley, 1940-2015

Memorial services for Carol Conley will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hayward Lutheran Church in Hayward. The Rev. Joel Erickson will officiate.Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Bonnerup Funeral Service in Albert Lea and again one hour prior to the service at church. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Albert Lea.
Carol Marie Conley, 75, of Hayward passed away Friday, April 3, 2015, at Mayo Hospital in Rochester. Carol was born to Mae (Campbell) and LeBert Conley Feb. 3, 1940, at Naeve Hospital in Albert Lea. She attended school at Hayward Schoolhouse through eighth grade and graduated from Albert Lea High School. She lived in Hayward and had been a member at Hayward Lutheran Church her whole life.
Carol worked at the Cargill Foods plant in Albert Lea as a shipping clerk for 53 years. In her free time she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and doing arts and crafts with her husband, Clark.
Those left to cherish Carol’s memory include her husband, Clark Young, of Hayward; son, Mark Conley, of Albert Lea; grandchildren Cally Conley of Albert Lea, Ranier Conley of Austin and Logan Conley of Austin; sisters LaVonne Williams of Hayward, Nadine Moller of Albert Lea and Bernice Ashpole of Cavalier, North Dakota; and many nieces and nephews.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents LeBert and Mae Conley; brother, Richard Conley; aunt, Hazel Campbell; brothers-in-law Paul Williams, Rueben Moller and Roger Ashpole; and best friend, Shirley Olson.
