MINNEAPOLIS — The activities director and dance team coaches at Lakeville South High School have been disciplined over a public protest at the state dance tournament.

Lakeville South was one of five high schools to make a public snub of Faribault’s championship routine in February over questions of originality.

Six coaches and the activities director at Lakeville were given written reprimands following an investigation by a Minneapolis law firm. The Lakeville district issued a statement saying the reprimands were necessary to make clear expectations of sportsmanship and professionalism.
