Program grateful for support

May 4 through 9 is National Teacher Appreciation Week. As educators, we know that it takes a village to teach our kids all the things they need to learn to be productive and contributing members of our community.

The special education vocational program at Albert Lea High School would like to send out a letter of thanks and appreciation to the many community members and local businesses that have worked with our students throughout the year. Throughout the school year, these businesses and community members have welcomed us into their workplaces, come into our classrooms, hired our students and guided them in how to be successful employees.

In no particular order, thank you to the following individuals and businesses: Celebrations, Wells Fargo, Minnesota WorkForce Center, Daisy Blue Naturals, Manpower, Good Samaritan Society of Albert Lea, Green Mill, Erbert and Gerbert’s, Hy-Vee, Dairy Queen, Theresa Spiering, Taco John’s, State Farm Insurance-Dave Klatt, Trail’s Travel Center, Casey’s, Granicrete, Salvation Army, Hardee’s, Thorne Crest Retirement Community, Ann Adams, Home Depot and Broadway Farms.
