• The first program is the Family Caregiver Network, a powerful tool for caregivers that focuses on helping family and friends care for older adults with long-term health conditions. There are sessions for living well with chronic conditions that teach self-management techniques for anyone with long-term health conditions.

Another segment focuses on using interactive dance and stories to create healthy communities by exposing the hidden spirit of individuals burdened by everyday stresses and responsibilities.

• The second program is the Retired Senior Volunteer Program. The grant goes toward Bone Builders, which meets various times at 12 locations countywide, and Tai Chi, which is focused on moving for better balance.
