- Albert Lea Schools sent eight teams to the fifth-grade Math Masters competition in Austin on Thursday. Out of 166 competitors, Albert Lea students received 8 awards for the fact drill and 3 individual awards went to Vayda Stadheim, Macy Taylor and Henrik Lange. Sibley Elementary School had a first place win. Members of the first-place team were Jack Doppelhammer, Raiden Gordon, Carsen Knutson, Henrik Lange and Vayda Stadheim. — Provided
