- The Albert Lea boys’ basketball team had its awards banquet March 15 at Albert Lea High School. From left are Dedoch Chan, Jake Kilby and Tyler Anderson. Chan averaged 21.9 points and 7.1 rebounds per game and was a Second Team Big Nine All-Conference and First Team All-Area selection. He was also the team’s offensive MVP and team MVP. Kilby averaged 7.3 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.1 steals per game. He was an All-Area honorable mention selection and the team’s defensive MVP. Anderson was Albert Lea’s Most Improved Player. — Provided
