According to Hayek Field groundskeeper Jay Enderson, wet conditions forced the Albert Lea baseball team to postpone today’s home opener to 4:15 p.m. April 20.

The Tigers will play their season opener at 5 p.m. Thursday at Rochester Century.

Albert Lea’s new home opener will be against Faribault at noon Saturday.

The Albert Lea softball team’s season opener at 5 p.m. today at Red Wing is planned to be played as scheduled, coach Dan Harms said.
