Windows damaged

A brick was reported thrown at the front window of 1851 Margaretha Ave. at 6:05 a.m. Friday. It reportedly broke the first pane of a double-pane window.

The back window of a vehicle was reported smashed out at 3:23 p.m. Friday at 2510 Bridge Ave. The damage had reportedly taken place within the last hour.

Thefts reported

Three new televisions were reported stolen at 4:43 p.m. Friday from a storage room at 2214 E. Main St.

Tools were reported stolen at 11:37 a.m. Sunday from a laundry room at 928 W. Front St.

A stunt bike was reported stolen at 8:19 p.m. Sunday from a yard at 604 Water St.

A narcotic patch was reported stolen at 8:35 p.m. Sunday at 75507 240th St.

A toolbox was reported stolen at 9:02 p.m. Friday from a garage 1010 James Ave.

 

Counterfeit bill found

A counterfeit $50 bill was reported at 5:41 p.m. Friday at 901 W. Main St.

 

1 arrested for DWI

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Jared Alan Anderson Olson, 19, for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated, underage drinking and a probation violation after receiving a report of a vehicle stuck in mud at 12:26 a.m. Saturday at 70846 220th St., Albert Lea. Also cited was Joshua James Schwarz, 20, for underage drinking.

 

Man cited for burning violation

Deputies cited Jesse Wayne Krick, 34, for burning prohibited materials at 11:08 p.m. Saturday at 63369 190th St., Alden.

 

3 juveniles cited with theft

Three juveniles were cited with theft at  7:28 p.m. Saturday at Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave.

 

Citations stem from traffic stop

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies cited Latasha Nicole Williams, 31, and Brian Phillip Johnson, 29, for having an open container of alcohol in a vehicle and possession of a small amount of marijuana in a vehicle after a traffic stop at 8:02 p.m. Monday on Interstate 90 east of the Bridge Avenue exit. The logs stated Sondra Louise Williams was also arrested on warrants out of Fairmont and Blue Earth County for offering a forged check. Latasha Williams was cited for speed.
