Bike-A-Thon hosts 59 riders

The 43rd annual Freeborn County Bike-A-Thon on May 2 raised money for cancer research. There were 59 riders plus team riders who participated in the 100 mile ride; 21 completed the ride. Megan Thorson and Bria Schrieber finished at 2:52 p.m. and were welcomed by their cheering family. The girls rode in honor of Megan’s dad and Bria’s grandfather Jim Broskoff who has been battling cancer for the past eight years. The girls are pictured above with their family members.
