Counterfeit bills reported

A counterfeit bill was reported at 10:05 a.m. Tuesday at 122 E. Main St.

A counterfeit $100 bill was reported at 7:50 a.m. Wednesday at 1311 W. Front St. The bill had reportedly been passed Tuesday.

2 cited for marijuana

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Jonathyn Michael DaVeiga, 21, on a local warrant for failure to appear for underage drinking at 12:32 a.m. today on the 200 block of Main Street in Emmons. DaVeiga was also cited for possession of synthetic cannabis and drug paraphernalia. Deputies cited Jesus Roman Gallardo, 21, for possession of a small amount of marijuana in a motor vehicle.

 

Hit-and-run crashes reported

A hit-and-run crash was reported at 7:56 a.m. Tuesday at 2751 E. Main St.

A hit-and-run crash was reported at 5:53 p.m. Tuesday near the intersection of East Seventh Street and Joseph Avenue. Someone reportedly hit a power pole and then left the scene.

 

Copper stolen from business

Copper was reported stolen at 8:24 a.m. Tuesday from Albert Lea Electric, 1410 Olsen Drive.

 

Woman arrested for assault

Albert Lea police arrested Jacqueline Kaye Clack, 45, for gross misdemeanor domestic assault, gross misdemeanor fourth-degree assault on police and gross misdemeanor obstruction at 4:23 p.m. Tuesday at 507 Commercial St.

 

Criminal damage reported

Albert Lea police received a report of doors that appeared to be smashed in at 9:31 a.m. Wednesday at 316 Vine Ave.

 

Money missing 

Money was reported missing at 7:22 p.m. Wednesday from 903 Ulstad Ave.
