Memorial services for Janet Janice Johnson, 74, of Albert Lea will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home chapel. The Rev. Kent Otterman will officiate. Janet died on Tuesday, May 13, 2015, at her home.

Janet Janice Johnson was born on June 24, 1940, in Owatonna, the daughter of Clarence and Leona (Metzler) Johnson. Due to severe health issues Janet spent most of her life in health care institutions. She lived the last several years at REM Homes in Albert Lea. Those who knew and loved her will remember her independent spirit and excellent sense of humor.

Survivors include her friends and caregivers as well as other relatives.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents.
