Salem Lutheran Church will hold its final Celtic service for the spring on Wednesday.
This service will be meditative and hope-filled, and the language used will focus on nature and our being wonderfully created in the image of God. The Rev. Mark Niethammer acknowledges that “all over the Western world there is a yearning for a renewed depth of relationship between spirituality and the mystery of creation”.
The service begins at 5:30 p.m. in the sanctuary, followed by an invitation to dinner at 6:30 p.m. All are welcome.
Summer services begin in June on Sundays at 9 a.m. Beginning on June 1, the church will hold an additional Monday evening summer service at 5:30 p.m. Summer Monday services will continue through August 31. Salem is a no-barrier church.
