The Sons of Norway Memorial Service will be at 7 p.m. today at the Freeborn County Historical Museum. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.

Each year the group sets aside a time to pay tribute to the memory of their members who have passed away during the past year. This year they will remember Edward Stadheim, Eileen Flugum, Cecil “Bud” Varner, Agnes Sherman, Carl Larsen, Jeanette Olson and Donna Mae  Thon.

Each of these members was important to the group and contributed to the progress and welfare of their lodge and society.
