Teenager arrested after Shoreland Heights vehicle break-ins

Albert Lea police have arrested a 17-year-old boy in connection to at least 11 vehicle break-ins early this morning between Shoreland Heights and north of Richway Drive.

Break-ins were reported on multiple streets, including Willamor Road, Garden Road, Meredith Road, Willamor Circle, Channel Road, Lee Place and Richway Drive.

J.D. Carlson, deputy director of police, said the vehicles that were broken into were unlocked.

He advised people to lock their vehicles. Any other people with break-ins are encouraged to contact the police.

 

Burglary reported 

A burglary was reported at 12:59 a.m. today at 101 W. Main St., Geneva.

 

Wallet stolen

A wallet was reported stolen from a vehicle at 6:38 a.m. Thursday at 1206 Virginia Place.

 

Pickup damaged

Damage was reported to a 2014 Dodge Ram pickup at 12:24 p.m. Thursday at 206 N. Sixth Ave.
