The Fountain Lake Sportsmen’s Club would like to thank its members, sponsors and participants that made this years Take A Kid Fishing another great event! Nearly 500 wonderful kids 15 and younger received a fishing rod, reel, tackle and bait. Many fish were caught and smiles were seen everywhere.

The mission of the Sportsmen’s Club is to “promote and encourage the use of Fountain Lake and its watershed.” We feel that events like this play an important role in teaching children and adults to enjoy the wonderful sport of fishing and to learn and to respect the watershed and all it has to offer.
